Wheeler Mercantile is a collection of old things, new things, and good things - gathered, made, restored, and loved along the way.

We’re Meg and Matt Wheeler, a husband-and-wife team with a shared love for things made with intention. Matt makes pottery, carrying on a craft that has been part of his family for years. His father, who passed away, was also a potter, and we love that his hands continue to shape a tradition that began long before Wheeler Mercantile. Meg refinishes furniture, makes quilts and other textile goods, and enjoys giving well-loved materials and pieces a new life. Her work is practical, thoughtful, and often rooted in the simple beauty of things made by hand.

Together, we’re drawn to things with a story: vintage furniture with a little patina, handmade pottery, rich textiles, useful objects, and the occasional treasure we simply couldn’t leave behind.

Nothing here is meant to be perfect. We like things that show a few blemishes, feel good in your hands, and are worth keeping around.
